Standing on that stage, looking out at a sea of developers, architects, and open-source enthusiasts… it hit me this is what community-driven innovation truly looks like.
I had the honor of leading a session titled “Security-First: What Businesses Must Know Before Choosing an Open Source Framework.”
The energy in the room was electric everyone eager to learn, challenge, and share. We explored how open source brings incredible freedom and innovation, but also how that freedom comes with responsibility.
I spoke about why security must be treated as a design principle, not an afterthought and how governance, automation, and ecosystem hygiene are key to making open source safe, scalable, and sustainable.
It was both humbling and empowering to represent this message especially as someone who’s seen firsthand how the right balance between innovation and security can transform outcomes for businesses and developers alike.
A big thank you to the Open Source India team for curating such a powerful platform, and to everyone who joined the session your curiosity and conversations made it memorable.
Bengaluru, you were amazing!
Until next time, let’s keep building open, secure, and together.
